Day Off to Gapi Waterfall, Jln Antara Gapi-Ulu Yam

Yes to be frank, it's not a easy path if you are a beginner in jungle trekking even though it's not that difficult. Better explore when dry season rather then rainy season, because most of the path covered with dirt roads and it's very slippery when walking to the destination. We cross few rivers before reach the waterfall. Use suitable shoes for more safer journey. The tour guide advice us to use Adidas kampung shoe which is just RM10 in local shoe stores. Very good experience for beginners, for family, students etc.

Tips & Advice:
1) Use proper shoes for your own safety
2) Full covered quick drying clothes advised
3) Bring Insect repellents because lot of mosquitoes
4) Bring parang (machetes) because this place less visited area
5) Bring enough water and simple food because its a 2 hours journey to go and comeback
6) Bring small first aid kit for any medical emergencies. Lot of leech in the forest/jungles and most probably you need it.
